Hi,

I am Tracie Humphrey of Scales, Tails and Feathers Rescue. We are not a non-profit 501(c)3, though we are working on that, which is why we are in desperate need of item donations as all the expenses for the animals that come through here comes out of our personal pocket. We have worked with another rescue Prancing Paws k9 Rescue and with the Volusia County Animal Services (though they would know us by name not our organization name). Our rescue is one that homes felines (kittens mostly), dogs/puppies and small animals. We have also fostered/rescued other animals (lizards, turtles, exotics, birds, ect) though those don't come through as much.

We are looking for donations of bedding, food, toys and supplies of any kind. Please -no- donations in the form of money, just supplies. Anything is welcomed and is much appreciated! I can only go as far as Sanford towards Orlando and Deland towards Daytona and that also depends on the size of the donation. Though, as we are running low on both money and supplies it would be greatly appreciated if these things could be dropped off. We are in desperate need of the following items:

Fluorescent UVB bulbs
Heat Lamp Bulbs
Towels and/or Blankets (stained and/or ripped is fine as it will be used for bedding)
Paper towels
Garbage bags
Cat food (dry and/or wet)
Litter
Kitten/Cat Toys
Leads/Leashes
Collars/Harnesses
Litter Boxes
Food/Water Bowls
Dog Food (dry and/or wet)
Baby Gates (playpen kind and door kind as we try not to crate the animals that come in)

Also, if you have any yard sale leftovers that you are just going to throw away please contact me. We can come pick it up and use it in our monthly fund raiser garage sale for the animals. Please no large furniture, however, as we have no where to store it.

**I repeat... Please absolutely -no- money donations! Supplies only! While money donations are nice, I would just rather it be supplies instead. I will accept donations in the form of gift cards to Petco, Petsmart or any other pet store. Even if it isn't on the list and you feel it could be donated please feel free to do so.**
